Three time Grammy Award Winning John Legend’s concert at Rams Head Live was a night of pure musical pop funk. This standing room only venue was overflowing with John Legend fans. He opened the show with a song from his new album “Once Again,” sending fans into a frenzy.
The song “Heaven,” a hip rocking dance song was a treat to watch as Legend’s sexy voice titillated his fans as the background vocalists sang and danced to this bouncy beat.
His next song “Save Room” from the titled album, seems to put you back somewhere in the sixty’s when life was simple and pure but yet exciting. This song was wholesome and fun. John Legend’s performance was clean but sensual at the same time.
Legend’s musical artistry and his originality to his songs showed his fans that he is a pure talent and there’s nothing fake to his performance.
His creativity and sprit in his live show makes you feel as if you were sitting in his living room and just hanging out with the family. The sold out crowd at Ram’s Head Live was ecstatic with this up close and personal performance.
The audience consistied of as many male fans as it did female fans. Everyone in attendance was captivated with his energetic stage performance.
He continued the concert with some of his greats including, “Lets Get Lifted”, “She Don’t Have To Know”, “Maxine”, “Where Did My Baby Go”, and “Slow Dance” a sexy number where a lucky female fan had the opportunity to go on stage and get down and dirty with the Legend himself. John Legend’s pop vocals inflections on a number of these songs placed you back into time to the days of the old pop crooners.
Legend’s best part of the show came when he performed his blockbuster hit “Ordinary People,” which was received by the Rams Head audience with glee. The album, “Once Again,” shows the growth and maturity of this charming artist. It seems apparent with the continued success of John Legend’s new album “Once Again”, we may hopefully see John Legend once again looking forward to receiving several more Grammy’s.
